What you’ll do
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards.
- Conduct floor care activities including stripping, waxing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are safe and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to address any special requests or urgent cleaning needs from guests or staff.
- Utilize industrial cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Monitor supplies and report inventory needs to ensure all cleaning materials are readily available.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries or concerns regarding public spaces.
- Assist in training new team members on proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices.
