Responsibilities: • Perform manual and semi-automated PCR setup to support biotech and trait pipelines • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated laboratory equipment independently • Process samples through production workflows using LIMS systems for accurate sample tracking • Conduct preventative and autonomous maintenance activities to ensure optimal lab health • Execute daily laboratory technical tasks while meeting strict production deadlines and quality standards • Communicate effectively with team members across different shifts and work locations • Participate in process optimization initiatives to improve workflow efficiency • Maintain organized documentation and records of laboratory activities • Lift and move laboratory materials and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds • Work flexible hours during peak production periods as needed Skills: • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with troubleshooting automated systems • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • High attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions • Proficiency in sample management and handling large volumes of materials • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments • Flexibility and agility in adapting to changing priorities Experience: • 0-2 years of laboratory experience or equivalent experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments such as retail, food service, or shipping operations • Experience with LIMS systems or laboratory automation is advantageous • Background in high-throughput sample processing or production settings is a plus Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field preferred This is an exceptional opportunity to launch or advance your career with one of the world's leading biotech companies.
