What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Legal Assistant position at Bayer & Carey Law Firm?
We are currently looking for a legal assistant for the principal owner of our law firm. This is a full-time, in-house position.
You will be responsible for various duties such as scheduling, entering in the attorney’s billing time, typing from dictation and printing out and replying to emails. The position requires attention to detail, good tying skills, the ability to be comfortable working with paper cases and good communication skills. This is a fast-paced environment.
Your typical day involves:
-printing emails and replying
-keeping case schedules
-typing letters, etc. from dictation
-entering in billing hours
-filing and organizing cases
-communication with the court, counsel, clients, experts and witnesses
Priority given to candidates who have previous experience typing from dictation. Hours are flexible but this position is in-office only. Thank you.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
