Are you a high school student who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and learning how technology works in the real world?
As a Youth Apprentice Field Technician at BAYCOM, you'll gain hands-on experience helping install and maintain radio communication systems, video surveillance equipment, and door access control systems. You'll work alongside experienced technicians who will train and mentor you every step of the way.
This is a paid, part-time apprenticeship designed to help you explore a career in technology, electronics, or telecommunications while you're still in high school.
On-the-job training is provided - no prior experience required.
What You'll Learn...* How to install and test communication and security equipment
* How to run cable and use hand and power tools safely
* Basic troubleshooting techniques for electronic systems
* Professional communication skills when working with customers
* How to work as part of a technical team
* Building things and figuring out how they work?

* Are currently enrolled in high school (junior or senior year preferred)
