What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registrar Coordinator position at BayCare?

Responsibilities:
- The Registrar Coordinator is responsible for performing functions in any or all of the following modalities: reception, registration, scheduling, financial counseling, bed control, cashier and insurance verification/authorization.
- Team member will demonstrate proficiency in all of the Registrar modalities within the department.
- Responsible for resolving registrar and customer service issues, processing payroll, maintaining department staffing schedules, assisting manager in providing guidance and direction to the Registrars, participating in coaching/counseling and annual performance evaluations.
- May be responsible to rotate shifts and take call. Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required - 3 years - Admitting; Or - 3 years - Registration; Or - 1 year - Relevant experience with Bachelors;
- Preferred - 2 years - Supervisory Role in a related field
- Required - High School or Equivalent; Or - Bachelors
