Cytotechnologist Lead – BayCare Health System
Location: St. Joseph’s South – Pathology Services
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Days
Status: Full-Time | Non-Exempt
Schedule: No Weekends | No On-Call | Remote: Never

Role Overview
As a Cytotechnologist Lead, you will:
- Perform cytotechnology testing
- Assist with cytology specimen preparation and fine needle aspirations
- Classify and evaluate specimens for pathologist review
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and instrumentation
- Coordinate scheduling and perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required:
- CT (Cytotechnologist) – State of Florida
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985)

Preferred:
- ASCP/SCT certification
- 3 years of experience in Cytotechnology
