BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced med surg/tele nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office float team.
- Regional Float Pool- PRN. Minimum commitment is 4 shifts in a 6-week schedule to include 2 weekend shifts, and a summer, winter holiday, and hard to fill staffing day requirement. Required to float to all of the hospitals in the region. Self-scheduled shifts and you are contacted approximately 2 hours before shift with unit/hospital assignment. May work more than the required minimum shifts.
The regions are:
Region I-St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay Hospitals
Region 2- St Joseph's Main, St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South and BayCare Wesley Chapel Hospitals
Region 3-Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven Hospitals.
Shift Hours: 645pm-715am

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse license
- BLS is required (AHA or ARC only)
- ACLS is preferred (AHA only)
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- 18 months RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting is required
- 2 years RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting is strongly preferred
- Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
- Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
- Must be able to pass Tele test during orientation
