Position Details:
- Location: Mease Countryside Hospital, 3231 Mcmullen Booth Rd, Safety Harbor, FL 34695
- Status: Fulltime
- Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- On Call: Yes Always in person
Summary:
The Operating Room Charge RN responsibilities include:
- Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
- Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
- Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members
- Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
For this position, we strongly prefer at least 2 years RN experience in Operating Room. Experience as a Charge RN in the Operating Room preferred. Board running experience preferred. Front Desk experience preferred. This position will be a Front Desk focused Charge role.

- ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

Education:
- Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field or RN Certification in related field
Experience :
- Required includes 2 years acute care experience or 2 years Interventional/Procedural Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
