About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Quoting Specialist with experience in electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs). This hybrid role combines procurement responsibilities with support for customer quoting and project estimating. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable collaborating with multiple teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Source and procure electronic components and PCB materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery
- Evaluate suppliers for quality, lead times, and pricing
- Generate and manage purchase orders accurately within internal systems
- Assist sales and engineering teams with customer quotes, including gathering component pricing, lead times, and BOM analysis
- Maintain accurate purchasing and quoting data in ERP/MRP systems
- Track and resolve issues related to shortages, delays, or quality concerns
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and sales teams to support project requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (electronics or PCB experience preferred)
- PCB or electronic components knowledge is a strong plus
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting quoting or estimating processes
- Familiarity with BOMs (Bill of Materials) and component sourcing
- Understanding of pricing structures, lead times, and supply chain constraints in electronics
