Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Salesperson for a full-time, on-site role at our San Jose, CA, showroom location. The Salesperson will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, and offering expert advice to meet their design and remodeling needs. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a dynamic, organized showroom; processing sales transactions from the warehouse or showroom; building client relationships; upselling products; and collaborating with team members to meet sales targets. The role requires a commitment to creating an engaging and informative shopping experience for every customer.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with customers and team collaboration
- Strong knowledge of home improvement products, including tile, slabs, cabinets, and related materials
- Ability to handle sales transactions, maintain inventory records, and provide product recommendations
- Organizational and multitasking skills to efficiently manage showroom tasks and customer needs
- Customer service experience, with a focus on creating a positive and welcoming shopping environment
- Experience or background in the building, remodeling, or interior design industry is a plus
- Bilingual skills are an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or education are a plus
