Description

The Inside Sales Associate supports the District Manager(s) to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This associate maintains professional relationships with new and existing customers while contributing to increase sales volume.

Responsibilities

• Handles sales calls/emails with existing and potential new customers.
• Provides accurate product quotes.
• Submits customer orders.
• Verifies all orders are accurate and meets the customer’s delivery expectations.
• Maintains a project log and follows up on customer accounts.
• Communicates with District Manager in regard to customer accounts, pricing, project updates, and competitor info.
• Communicate with warehouse workers and customers.
• Call customers to confirm orders and provide approximate shipment and arrival times.
• Assist with the coordination and tracking of customer orders and making sure orders are scheduled to ship on time
• Provide proof of deliveries to the customers
• Support sales team with quotes and basic customer inquires
• Placement and tracking of purchase orders with vendors
• Monitor inventory levels of components against open orders and determining re-order amounts and timing
• Assist in maintaining accurate cost data on components and package
• Will be required to perform all other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• One year of experience within an office environment, required.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Products and Microsoft Axapta experience, preferred.
• Inside sales or customer service experience within the manufacturing/construction industries, preferred.
• Ability to understand metal building drawings, architectural blueprints, and other specifications, preferred.
