What You'll Be Doing
- Run daily dispatch operations for a team of 40–60 drivers, making sure every route is covered and every driver is set up to succeed
- Track routes in real time — reroute, troubleshoot, and problem-solve on the fly when drivers hit delays, breakdowns, or delivery issues
- Communicate directly with drivers throughout their shifts — answer questions, resolve app or package issues, and keep them moving
- Monitor on-time performance, route completion, and delivery metrics throughout the day
- Coordinate with station leadership on staffing gaps, call-outs, and same-day coverage
- Flag vehicle issues, damage, or safety concerns as they come in and route them to the right person
- Keep accurate records of daily dispatch activity, incidents, and driver communication
- Be the calm, clear voice drivers can count on when something goes wrong on the road
What You Bring
- 1 years in dispatch, logistics coordination, or a similar fast-paced operational role
- Strong communication skills — clear, calm, and direct, especially under pressure
- Comfort multitasking across radios, phones, apps, and dashboards at the same time
- Solid computer skills — Excel, Outlook, and dispatch/operations tools
- Ability to read a situation quickly and make decisions without hand-holding
- Background in Amazon DSP, moving, trucking, or courier operations is a real advantage
- Degree is welcome but your experience speaks louder
