Job Summary

Bay-CSS is seeking a compassionate and responsible Glen Burnie Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a part-time role with benefits eligibility. The position involves providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting during specified shifts, including Sunday 7am - 3pm, Thursday 11pm - 9am, and Friday & Saturday 11pm - 7am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• Successful completion of a background check
• Willingness to attend and complete all required training within specified timeframes
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal care, and light housekeeping
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Follow individual care plans and document any changes or incidents
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and residents' families
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
