Glen Burnie Residential DSP Part-Time

Job Summary

Bay-CSS is looking for a dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team on a part-time basis in Glen Burnie. The DSP will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. This role includes weekend shifts on Sunday from 3pm to 11pm and on Saturday from 7am to 3pm, with an additional 3pm to 11pm shift. The pay rate is $21/hr. with a $2 shift differential for Saturday and Sunday. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with car insurance, and the ability to lift at least 50lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient attitude
• Must pass a background check
• Willingness to attend and complete required trainings within specified timeframes
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and participating in community activities
• Ensure residents' safety and security at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident activities and progress
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external service providers to ensure comprehensive care for residents
  
  

Schedule

• Part-time position with weekend shifts on Sunday 3pm-11pm and Saturday 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm.
