At Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA), we are looking for customer service-centered, safety-minded individuals to join our team of dedicated Public Bus Drivers - No two days are ever the same and each day matters!
What you'll be doing
- Complete basic safety and maintenance inspections to keep your vehicle in tip-top shape, maintaining safety for you and your passengers!
- Demonstrate top notch customer service to both Grand Traverse and Leelanau County communities.
- Navigate onboard technology and communication equipment with confidence and efficiency.
- Safely operate company vehicles, complying with DOT, State and BATA policies.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of transportation resources, service geography and road conditions.
- Efficiently communicating with operations, mechanics, dispatchers and fellow drivers to maintain high levels of service.
