Responsibilities
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of garage projects
- Measure and mark dimensions accurately using tape measures and other hand tools to meet project specifications
- Construct garage frameworks using carpentry skills such as framing, door hanging, trim carpentry, and installing building materials
- Install roofing systems, gutters, siding, doors, windows, and other fixtures with attention to detail and quality standards
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for tasks.
- Perform construction site inspections to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and verify adherence to plans
- Collaborate with team members and clients to address project needs promptly while maintaining excellent customer service
- Complete restoration work including drywalling, caulking, painting, and finishing touches to ensure a polished final product
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or remodeling projects with a focus on garage or building construction
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical schematics
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, tape measures, and power tools effectively
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required.
- Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems relevant to garage construction is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise measurements and material installation
