Preschool Teacher

Tiny Treasures Preschool

Salary: Non-exempt/hourly, full-time position

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

Reports to: Preschool Director or Assistant Preschool Director

Responsibilities

As a Tiny Treasures educator, you will:

• Confidently create safe and positive learning environments for children to play and learn
• Partner closely with families and parents by actively sharing and regularly communicating children’s milestones to build trusting relationships
• Implement emergent curriculum that is play-based and developmentally appropriate for young children of all learning styles
• Collaborate and communicate with fellow teachers to discuss, develop, plan, and implement activities and practices
• Adapt and excel in a continuously changing, fast-paced environment to meet children’s needs and the success of our center.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education Core units
• Preferred 6 months or more experience in a licensed child care center
• Pediatric CPR & Pediatric First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand or walk up to 6 hours per day, or sit in child-sized chairs or on the floor or ground
• Basic technical skills using Google Suite (email, docs, and sheets)
• Evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle consistent with our Articles of Faith
