Seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Rehabilitation (DOR). This leadership role oversees therapy operations, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and support staff, ensuring high-quality rehabilitation services and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the rehab department (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP)
- Lead, mentor, and support therapy staff to achieve clinical excellence
- Manage scheduling, productivity, compliance, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, billing, and facility requirements
- Report on department performance and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Licensed Therapist (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP) in the state
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) required
- Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, documentation, and reimbursement
