What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end pricing initiatives, from analysis and recommendation through implementation and performance evaluation.
- Analyze price elasticity, demand patterns, and cost structures to optimize pricing across products, services, channels, and geographic markets.
- Develop pricing strategies and recommendations that balance company objectives with franchisee profitability and local market conditions.
- Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and customer behavior to inform short- and long-term pricing strategy.
- Design and execute pricing tests and pilot programs, interpreting results to refine pricing, promotions, and discount structures.
- Build and maintain competitive intelligence dashboards to track pricing gaps, assortment positioning, and market performance.
- Utilize statistical modeling, automation tools, and AI-powered analytics to accelerate analysis and uncover actionable insights.
- Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Sales, E-Commerce, and Franchise Operations teams to align pricing strategies.
- Conduct advanced analytics projects connecting pricing insights to assortment performance, category trends, and external demand signals.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership, supporting adoption through clear documentation and communication.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a comparable analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, pricing analytics, Google Sheets, and Excel.
- Experience working with Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools preferred.
- Experience leveraging generative AI and LLM tools for analysis, automation, or workflow optimization.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, market dynamics, and cost structures.
- Experience with retail or merchandising analytics concepts, such as assortment performance or category analysis, preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex analytical projects and translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
