Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage the collection of recyclable battery components in accordance with hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections of recycling vehicles, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with environmental standards.
• Handle hazardous materials responsibly, adhering strictly to safety regulations and environmental policies to prevent spills or contamination.
• Build positive relationships with a diverse collection of companies and individuals who are dedicated to the mission of recycling.
• Support outdoor work activities including heavy lifting, outdoor equipment operation, and site maintenance under various weather conditions.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently during all tasks to ensure personal safety and regulatory compliance.

Skills

• Proven experience driving safely.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials regulations and safety regulations pertinent to battery recycling operations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices during outdoor work activities.
• Excellent attention to detail for sorting recyclable materials accurately and adhering to safety protocols.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and following safety instructions diligently.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
