Responsibilities
- Manage the collection of recyclable battery components in accordance with hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of recycling vehicles, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with environmental standards.
- Handle hazardous materials responsibly, adhering strictly to safety regulations and environmental policies to prevent spills or contamination.
- Build positive relationships with a diverse collection of companies and individuals who are dedicated to the mission of recycling.
- Support outdoor work activities including heavy lifting, outdoor equipment operation, and site maintenance under various weather conditions.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently during all tasks to ensure personal safety and regulatory compliance.
Skills
- Proven experience driving safely.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment operation and maintenance.
