Trial Attorney - Personal Injury

Batta Fulkerson is a San Diego-based personal injury firm with a growing litigation department that is known for taking tough cases to trial. Our team combines a wide range of experience with a down-to-earth, client-centered approach.

We're looking for an experienced Trial Attorney (2–5 years) to join our San Diego office full time. You'll manage your own caseload of auto, premises, and dog bite injury cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediation, motions and other court appearances, and trial, with support from our collaborative team of attorneys and staff.

This role is for someone who is self-motivated, cares deeply about providing high level service to clients, and wants meaningful courtroom experience. You'll handle all aspects of litigation while maintaining close communication with clients. There's also opportunity for mentorship, collaboration, and growth into a senior role handling our most complex cases.

Prior personal injury experience, either plaintiff or defense, is required. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent writing, communication, and negotiation skills, close attention to detail, and passion about the work we do. The ability to work proactively while thinking critically is essential.

Compensation for this position is $80,000 base salary plus commission (uncapped) and generous origination bonuses. Other benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and paid bar dues.
