What We’re Looking For:
Compassionate, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative care environment At least one year of LPN experience preferred, especially in geriatric or long-term care Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program Current Louisiana LPN licensure Proficient in computerized documentation and medication administration Skilled in starting and monitoring IVs, performing treatments, and communicating effectively with RNs

What You Will Do:
Provide compassionate nursing care to a designated patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Perform a range of direct and indirect care duties to support overall treatment and comfort of patients.
Administer medications accurately and timely Document patient care and observations using computerized systems Start and monitor IVs as ordered by physicians Perform treatments including dressing changes Report abnormal findings and patient status changes to the supervising RN promptly
