What We’re Looking For:
Compassionate, empathetic, and effective communicator Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment Skilled in crisis intervention and psychosocial assessments At least 24 months of recent, relevant experience in counseling or social work Master’s Degree in Counseling or Psychology required Current licensure as LPC, LAC, LMFT, or PLPC Current CPR certification required Familiarity with patient safety practices, HIPAA regulations, and therapeutic modalities including group, family, and individual therapies

What You Will Do:
Provide professional counseling and social work services to support patients and their families through the continuum of care, ensuring biopsychosocial needs are met and communicated effectively.
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments addressing bio-psychosocial and environmental factors Identify and respond to abuse, neglect, suicidal or homicidal risks following all state and hospital policies Facilitate group therapies, individual sessions, and family meetings as ordered by the psychiatrist Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans Educate and involve patients and families in treatment decisions Monitor and document medical necessity and appropriateness of length of stay Initiate and update discharge planning and coordinate referrals to community resources Lead therapy sessions and patient education efforts as part of scheduled programming Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality and safety standards Perform other duties as assigned
