What We’re Looking For:
Required-Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Generalist license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills with the ability to supervise laboratory operations and staff effectively.
Experience exercising sound judgment in the application, evaluation, and implementation of laboratory procedures, techniques, and practices.
Sufficient experience in all areas of the clinical laboratory preferred .
Advanced technical knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, instrument maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do:
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and operation of an assigned area of the Laboratory.
Provides leadership to ensure high-quality laboratory services, operational efficiency, compliance with regulatory standards, and achievement of departmental goals.
Supervises staff, supports budgeting activities, and contributes to strategic and performance objectives across the organization.
Participate in the development and implementation of departmental goals, objectives , and operational priorities.
Supervise laboratory personnel, including performance management, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
Coordinate daily laboratory workflow, staffing assignments, and productivity to ensure efficient operations.
Monitor departmental performance, maintain required records and reports , and analyze operational data to support service excellence.
Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Provide technical expertise and oversight to ensure the validity, accuracy, and integrity of laboratory testing.
Serve as a resource for staff, physicians, and nursing personnel regarding laboratory testing, procedures, and result interpretation.
Assist in the oversight of quality control, quality assurance, and preventive maintenance programs for laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve departmental communication, workflow efficiency, and patient care outcomes.
Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, cost management, and operational excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned.
