What You Will Do:

Perform high-quality radiographic and CT imaging studies in accordance with established protocols while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy.

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs radiologic procedures following unit-based standards of practice.

• Positions patients, sets exposure factors, and produces high-quality diagnostic images.

• Prepares and maintains exam rooms per BRGMC Safety Guidelines.

• Utilizes immobilization devices and ensures patient safety and comfort.

• Operates radiographic and CT equipment safely and accurately.

• Prepares contrast media and administers when permitted by policy.

• Explains procedures to patients, reduces anxiety, and ensures cooperation.

• Recognizes adverse reactions and communicates promptly with staff and physicians.

• Demonstrates age-specific care and clear communication.

• Performs CT scans including patient positioning, scan setup, and image acquisition.

• Maintains CT room, equipment, and supply inventory.

• Performs daily QC tests and documents radiation safety compliance.

• Accurately charges procedures and maintains regulatory readiness.

• Completes required education and maintains licensure and CPR.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.
