What You’ll Do

In this role you will support the accounts payable and general ledger functions, ensuring smooth financial operations, and contribute to accurate monthly reporting and reconciliation processes. You will:

• Accounts Payable duties (approximately 60%)
• Review employee expense reimbursements as part of the accounts payable function
• Review vendor invoices for general ledger and project ledger coding
• Assist with the preparation of weekly payment files for employee expense reimbursements and vendor payments
• Help resolve discrepancies with vendors
• Support payments reconciliations process
• Assist with AP inquiries from vendors and employees
• Support monthly AP close and account reconciliations process
• Assist with Form 1099 reconciliation
• GL Accounting duties (approximately 40%)
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliation as part of the monthly financial close process
• Maintain fixed assets module records and depreciation schedules
• Compile supporting schedules for annual audits and ad hoc analysis requests
• Assist with accounting system upgrade testing
• Assist with other Ad-Hoc assignments as needed
  

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships or AP/GL experience a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Understanding of general accounting principles and accounting ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong mathematical abilities and an analytical mindset
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• May require more than 40.0 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.

• Competitive compensation—the salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. This position is also eligible for bonus compensation on a discretionary basis.
