Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Support:
- Assist with data entry, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial ledgers
- Utilize accounting software to track income and expenses
- Assist the accounting team in preparing preliminary financial reports and organizing tax documents for review
Client Relations:
- Serve as primary point of communication for clients
- Manage client onboarding
- Manage high volume email correspondence ensuring timely responses and organized filing
- Maintain digital filing systems and handle sensitive client data with strict confidentiality
- Provide backup support for administrative tasks when needed
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a consistent quality of work in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professional etiquette
- Ability to understand a client’s needs and build/maintain strong professional relationships
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Citrix ShareFile or similar secure, online file-sharing platforms
- Previous administrative experience within an accounting firm, financial services, or legal office
