Duties
- Perform Comprehensive Diagnostics: Troubleshoot residential HVAC systems using testing tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Repair & Maintain: Fix and maintain residential equipment including split systems, mini-splits, heat pumps, and straight cool units.
- Conduct Routine Maintenance: Perform thorough preventative maintenance tasks, including coil cleaning, electrical checks, component testing, and system calibrations to maximize efficiency.
- Communicate Clearly: Speak honestly with homeowners at the kitchen table. Explain your findings and provide clear options.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed digital service records of repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions in our field management software.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 3 Years of Verifiable Experience as a service technician specializing in Residential HVAC systems. (Rookies need not apply—we check employment history).
- EPA Universal Certification is required.
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills: Deep mechanical knowledge and diagnostic capabilities on residential split and package systems.
- Clean Driving Record: A valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record are mandatory.
- Professional Mindset: You must be reliable, organized, keep your company truck clean, and possess excellent communication skills with homeowners.
- $20.00 – $28.00 Per Hour (Based entirely on your actual field experience and technical ability).
