What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Basurto Painting?
Basurto Painting is hiring an Administrative Assistant. This is an in-person position and will be working out of our office located in Palo Alto, CA.
For 20 years, Basurto Painting has been the silent force behind some of the most exclusive and breathtaking homes in the Palo Alto area. We don’t just paint houses—we elevate, preserve luxury, and protect legacy.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in social media content creation and management, preferably with some interest in the painting or interior design industry.
This role will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining daily office work flow - Efficiently managing/coordinating daily schedule/calendar, contacts, emails, phone calls, and messages to team via Slack.
- Provide a bridge for smooth communication between clients/leads and CEO.
- Coordinate daily social media postings in collaboration with our off-site marketing partners.
- Organize and file employee applications and private documents.
- Manage and stay on top of in-house inventory and place new sundries orders.
- Communicate with painters on a daily basis to organize the collection of content on job sites.
- Assist Marketing Manager and CEO with additional tasks as needed.
- Including but not limited to: Printing of paint labels, general office upkeep and tidying, communicate hiring info with potential new applicants, add and update client/job information on CRM platform, create and send client invoices using CRM platform, assist at on-site meetings with clients, visit job sites for the collection of content, assist with content creation in office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Must be extremely organized and a good planner.
- Person must be adaptable and able to think quickly on their feet.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Works appropriately with confidential information and acts with discretion.
- Experience with DripJobs or similar CRM platforms is a plus.
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, Adobe, or similar editing platforms is a plus.
- Experience with Duda or similar website editing platforms is a plus.
Education(Not Required)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Pay Range
Starting rate: $25/hour (Potential for additional compensation based on experience and skill set.)
