Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered Secondary Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators in providing high-quality instruction in a supportive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will hold or be eligible for Louisiana teacher certification and bring energy, creativity, and strong instructional practices to the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
- Promote a classroom culture of high expectations and mutual respect
- Utilize formative and summative assessments to inform instruction
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain one through the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE)
- Strong content knowledge in assigned subject area
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to student achievement and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching at the secondary level (grades 9–12)
- Familiarity with Louisiana Student Standards and curriculum frameworks
- Proficiency in educational technology tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Edgenuity, Clever)
- Experience with data-driven instruction and MTSS/RTI practices
