Job Description:
Bastion Security Services is seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors. This role is essential in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment at our clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises via patrols and surveillance systems
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
- Greet patients and visitors while enforcing clinic entry protocols
- Ensure unauthorized individuals do not access restricted areas
- Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to maintain a calm, safe environment
- Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation
- Support enforcement of clinic policies including mask mandates and visitor limits
- Assist in de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and respect
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or related field (healthcare preferred)
- Valid state security guard license
- Powers to Arrest certificate (8-hour course)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.98 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
