Job Summary
We are seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. We're a family owned restaurant & brewery since 2016. We are really proud of what we put out there & would love applicants with the same attitude. This role involves preparing high-quality burgers, bbq, & comfort foods food in a fast-paced environment. The Line Cook/Prep Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff & front of house to maintain a smooth & fun workflow.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, & marinating as per menu specifications.
- Execute cooking tasks efficiently, ensuring dishes are prepared to order & presented beautifully.
- Maintain cleanliness & organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety & sanitation standards.
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients & dish ideas.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow all food handling procedures to minimize waste & ensure quality control.
Skills
- Experience in kitchen prep & line cooking
- Experience in fast-casual and/or high-volume food service environments, preferred but not required.
- Proficient knife skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers, kitchen, and front of house coworkers
- A desire to continually learn and improve cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations & best practices
Job Details

- Must have or promptly obtain a Skagit County Food Handlers Permit
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop & frequently lift up to 50 pounds
