Job description:
We are looking for dependable Fabricators / Tack Welders to join our outdoor furniture manufacturing team. This position is fast paced and responsible for fitting, assembling, and tack welding aluminum furniture frames before they move to final welding. The right candidate will be able to read basic production requirements, work accurately with parts and fixtures, and build frames that are square, clean, and ready for final weld.
Job Responsibilities
The Fabricator / Tack Welder will assemble aluminum furniture components using jigs, fixtures, clamps, and tack welding equipment..
Daily duties may include:
- Fitting and assembling aluminum furniture frames and components
- Tack welding aluminum parts in preparation for final TIG welding
- Using fixtures, jigs, clamps, squares, tape measures, and hand tools
- Checking parts for proper fit, alignment, and squareness
- Identifying missing, incorrect, or damaged parts before assembly
- Maintaining consistent tack placement without excessive weld buildup
- Working with final welders, machine operators, and supervisors to keep production moving
- Inspecting frames before sending them to final weld
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications
Prior experience in aluminum fabrication, tack welding, welding prep, metal assembly, or furniture manufacturing is preferred. We are willing to train the right person who has mechanical ability, good attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Ideal qualifications include:
- Basic welding or tack welding experience preferred
- Aluminum welding or fabrication experience is a strong plus
- Ability to use measuring tools and check parts for square
- Ability to work from fixtures, patterns, or basic drawings
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to recognize poor fit-up, gaps, crooked parts, or frame defects
- Dependable attendance and ability to work in a production environment
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Experience with grinders, clamps, saw-cut parts, tubing, or extrusions is helpful
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing for long periods, lifting and moving aluminum parts and furniture frames, bending, reaching, clamping parts, and using welding and fabrication tools throughout the shift. The employee must be able to work safely around heat, sparks, sharp metal edges, noise, and normal manufacturing conditions.

Compensation
Pay based on experience. Prior fabrication, tack welding, welding, or outdoor furniture manufacturing experience required.
Candidates with prior outdoor furniture manufacturing experience a plus.
