E-Commerce Operations & Merchandising Specialist
Primary Function
Support the execution, maintenance, accuracy, and operational coordination of e-commerce and marketplace activities across digital sales channels. Ensure product data, merchandising readiness, promotional execution, catalog maintenance, and onboarding coordination are completed accurately and on schedule to support growth initiatives and operational efficiency.
Core Ownership Areas
Catalog & Product Setup Coordination
- Product setup and catalog entry coordination
- SKU onboarding and rollout support
- Product attribute population and maintenance
- Catalog organization and completeness tracking
- Coordination of launch readiness across channels
- Customer-specific assortment preparation and maintenance
Marketplace & Channel Operations
- Marketplace listing maintenance and updates
- Pricing and promotional implementation support
- Feed review and issue identification
- Inventory visibility and merchandising checks
- Channel compliance and formatting coordination
- Support onboarding and rollout of new marketplace accounts
Merchandising & Content Coordination
- Ensure asset and content completeness prior to launches
- Coordinate implementation of approved merchandising updates
- Monitor assortment presentation consistency across channels
- Support category refreshes and assortment optimization initiatives
- Coordinate product grouping and collection execution
Promotional & Campaign Execution
- Coordinate promotional setup and implementation timelines
- Assist with promotional validation and QA checks
- Support execution of approved seasonal and campaign updates
- Monitor launch completion and identify missing or incomplete elements
- Coordinate follow-up corrections or adjustments as needed
New Account & Channel Onboarding Support
- Coordinate onboarding task timelines for new marketplace and account launches
- Track onboarding requirements, deliverables, and asset readiness
- Coordinate product setup, merchandising, and catalog completion for launches
- Assist with gathering required customer documentation and setup materials
- Monitor onboarding progress and escalate missing items or blockers
- Support launch readiness validation across pricing, assets, merchandising, and catalog setup
- Coordinate post-launch cleanup items and follow-up tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Communications, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, marketplace operations, product data management, or related fields
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with product catalogs, SKU management, product information, or content management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data organization
- Experience with ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, PIM systems, ERP systems, or product data feeds preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
- Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and coordinate solutions across multiple teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing deadlines
- Experience in home furnishings, consumer products, retail, or ecommerce environments preferred
