As a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) you are accountable for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will assess, plan, deliver, coordinate, integrate, and evaluate nursing care related to patients needs. You will contribute to the support of patients through interdisciplinary teamwork. You are accountable to assure that the care provided is consistent with applicable standards, regulations, statutes and state, federal law. You will serve as a resource for other staff and clinicians as required. You will provide leadership to department staff, serving as a resource and mentor.
Graduate Nurse
As a Graduate Nurse (GN) you are accountable for the delivery of safe patient care under the direct supervision of their Registered Nurse (RN) preceptor. The GN assesses plans, delivers, coordinates, integrates, and evaluates nursing care related to patients needs. The GN contributes to the support of patients through interdisciplinary teamwork. The GN, under the direction of their preceptor, is accountable to assure that the care provided is consistent with applicable standards, regulations, statutes and state, federal law.
