What You Will Do
The Project Manager, reporting to the VP of Client Experience, will focus primarily on a key client in Orange County, CA. You'll lead project installation coordination—including new workstations, reconfigures, case goods, ancillary furniture, technology, and architectural projects—from order entry through final closeout. You will partner with Client Experience Managers on execution strategy through design and specification.
As the main point of contact for clients and trades, you'll manage critical dates, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction for each assigned project, ensuring objectives are met on time and to standard.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring regular evening and weekend work.
Primary Focus Areas:
· Acts as the communication hub and point of contact with customers, field leads, sales representatives, designers and third-party contractors
· Develops and communicates work plan, schedule and logistics based on overall project parameters, project schedule, scope and customers goals
· Performs site visits to verify field dimensions, building regulations, dock access, elevator status, and certificates of insurance to ensure accurate labor estimates
· Provides solutions to customer issues by continually assessing the changing needs of the customer and design space, making appropriate decisions to correct the problem, and communicating those solutions to the customer, and the greater team
· Maintains detailed project documentation, including project folders, documentation of key project decisions, sign offs and approvals throughout all project phases
· Provides timely, formal communications throughout project to client and project team
· Monitors all job costs, project billings, labor cost and change orders
· Determines all critical shipping information including product arrival timing, boxed or unboxed, tagging sequences etc.
· Conducts walk through with customers and project lead at time of completion to identify and resolve punch list
· Confirms project completion and ensures all invoicing is timely and accurate.

The Experience You Will Bring
· B.A./B.S. degree
· 5 years’ experience working at a commercial furniture manufacturer or furniture dealer
· 5 years’ experience coordinating multiple stakeholders to a successful outcome, preferably in an operations role.
· Has a strong knowledge of all aspects of furniture management, including the order preparation and management, installation, and furniture project administration.
· Hedberg software experience is preferred.
· PC skills - Advanced level with MS Office Suite

Compensation
Annual Compensation of $80,000 - $100,000
