This is a full-time, on-site Executive Chef role based in Diamond Bar, CA. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, managing food preparation, inventory, and quality control to ensure a consistent dining experience that reflects the restaurant’s standards. Responsibilities include menu planning and development, supervising kitchen staff, enforcing sanitation standards, and maintaining a collaborative and efficient work environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining food costs, managing vendor relationships, and staying updated on industry trends.
- Culinary expertise, including menu creation, recipe development, and mastery of cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills to manage, train, and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Experience with inventory management, cost control, and vendor relations
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and kitchen equipment maintenance
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to oversee multiple tasks and maintain efficiency
- A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional dining experiences
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
