What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Fabric and Trim Coordinator position at Basic Resources, Inc.?
The Senior Fabric and Trim Coordinator will own bulk production approvals partner with the Design team in all stages of the product development process. This person is responsible for evaluating submits for visual and hand feel needs and communicating findings to both internal teams and external partners. This is an opportunity to work on leading underwear, intimates, and loungewear brands.
Responsibilities:
- Own bulk production approvals and risk assessment, teaming with creative leads for the first season to re-establish standards
- Proactively manage factory communication and escalation
- Ensure accuracy of development-to-bulk alignment within the Design team
- Leverage advanced knowledge of production standards
- Ensure development approvals translate accurately into bulk
- Identify recurring issues and implement corrective action plans
- Continuing cross-functional communication between Design, Sales, and Production
- Develop junior team members and elevate overall team capability
Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on experience in a related role in fabric and trim, product development, or production
- In depth understanding of knits and wovens
- Intimates and underwear experience a plus
- Experience communicating with factories
- Leadership skills and management experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Airtable experience a plus
Annual salary range starting at $75,000
