We need a professional like you to join our team! The job exists to ensure BASF’s compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations by preparing tax returns and provisions, supporting other tax credit and incentives tasks, and assisting with inquiries with taxing jurisdictions.
As a Tax Analyst, You Create Chemistry By...
- Preparing and filing federal and state returns, estimates and extensions. Prepar supporting workpapers, apportionment, and analysis. Assist with tax planning and forecasting.
- Preparing required analysis and filings for federal and state credits and incentives
- Assisting with tax audits and inquiries, including responding to tax authorities
- Supporting quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations and return to provision analysis
- Providing assistance with other projects and initiatives
If you...
- Have a bachelor’s degree, Accounting or Finance major is preferred.
- Have a minimum of 1 year experience in federal / state income taxes
- Are self-motivated & innovative, with strong interpersonal and partnering skills
- Have tax research skills, including tax laws and regulations, utilizing RIA or similar tax research services
- Are analytic and problem solving, comfortable with implementing best practices and changes to processes as required.
- Are familiar with OneSource Income Tax & OneSource Provision. Experience with Alteryx, SAP a plus.
