ASSISTANT FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN
Skills and Responsibilities
- Installing cabling systems for low voltage systems
- Inspecting, installing, troubleshooting, and servicing of low voltage systems
- Participation in On-Call rotation
- Completing site surveys
- Travel to various customer work sites throughout the workday/workweek
- Understanding and developing schedules and budgets
- Organizing and tracking project materials, company tools, and equipment
- Continued development of knowledge in access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and other Basesix systems
- Other items as needed
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate

Work experience with low voltage structured cabling

Experience with commercial and residential systems

Troubleshooting skills

Ability to work on ladders and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Ability to read and comprehend written communication

Frequent use of stairs, climbing and descending

Ability to stand up to 4 hours at a time

Valid driver's license
