Job Summary:
The Patient Transportation Driver is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from Basecamp Recovery Center locations, meetings, and appointments. This role requires a professional, compassionate, and client-focused individual who can contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for those utilizing transportation services. The Driver must maintain a courteous and respectful demeanor while ensuring compliance with all safety, regulatory, and organizational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with all regulations regarding protected health information (PHI).
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all clients.
- Conduct all personal and professional interactions with clients and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Execute transportation duties in accordance with Basecamp Recovery Center policies and procedures.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal driving regulations and safety standards.
- Provide lunch coverage and support for other drivers as required.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or leadership.
Work Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- On-Call Positions:
• 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must posses a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS) certification in the state of Ohio
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
