SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Vice President of Operations will be a key member of the executive
leadership team, responsible for overseeing all operational functions across our omni-channel business, including e-commerce, retail, and wholesale divisions. This leader will drive operational excellence, foster high-performing teams, and ensure seamless execution from supply chain to customer delivery. This is an exempt role and will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Vice President of Operations is responsible for the following:
- Develop and execute operational strategies that support the company’s growth across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channels.
- Partner with executive leadership to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
- Optimize end-to-end business processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
- Oversee all distribution center operations, including inventory management, fulfillment, logistics, and shipping accuracy.
- Implement best practices for warehouse management systems, productivity metrics, and cost control.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer and wholesale orders while maintaining brand quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team across multiple departments.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and nurture future leaders, implementing training programs and career development pathways.
- Project & Process Management
- Direct and manage large-scale operational projects, from systems implementation to process improvements and infrastructure expansion.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve workflow, communication, and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and financial performance metrics.
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to drive informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization without compromising quality or service.
- Performing other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations within apparel, retail, or consumer goods industries
- Proven success managing distribution centers and logistics operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership and people development skills, with a track record of building effective, motivated teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic projects from conception through execution.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS), required.
