Job Summary:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens and towels are cleaned to the highest standards. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and sanitary environment for guests and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate industrial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
· Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry including linens and towels.
· Inspect laundry for stains and damage; treat stains and report damaged items.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.
· Follow safety procedures and sanitation policies.
· Report any maintenance issues.
· Assist with inventory and restocking laundry supplies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
