We provide comprehensive liability insurance and critical resources for both landowners and hunters. Through strategic brand partnerships with organizations like the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) and our ongoing advocacy, we are dedicated to protecting the tradition of hunting, promoting wildlife conservation, and educating the outdoor community.
- Base Camp Leasing acts as the premier intermediary connecting landowners—ranging from private family farms to large-scale corporate farming and timber entities—with responsible, dedicated hunters. We provide a trusted network for securing high-quality hunting leases, ensuring landowners can maximize their property's value while offering hunters exclusive, safe access to prime outdoor experiences.
We are looking for a versatile, creative digital marketer who can seamlessly manage content and campaigns that serve our dedicated community of hunters, landowners, and outdoor enthusiasts.
The Role
As our Digital Marketing & Content Specialist, you will be the day-to-day voice of both brands. You will be responsible for building engaging email campaigns, growing our social media footprint, and managing digital content that educates and excites our audience—whether they are searching for the perfect hunting lease or securing liability coverage for their hunting club.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Marketing (Mailchimp): Design, write, and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies. This includes mapping out automated customer journeys (such as welcome series and lease renewal reminders), developing valuable evergreen content, managing regular newsletters, and coordinating giveaway campaigns to drive subscriber growth and engagement.
- Social Media Management (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Tik Tok): Create and publish engaging organic content across all social media platforms. Determine brand-centric, high-quality content to organically repost and share with our audience. Actively monitor comments, interact with users on posts, and foster a strong, engaged online community.
- Blog Management (WordPress): Oversee all aspects of our blogs by creating and publishing original articles, as well as developing valuable evergreen resources. Manage relationships with hired freelance content creators, ensuring their provided material is reviewed, formatted, and posted seamlessly. Create and execute a comprehensive content schedule to maintain a consistent and engaging publishing cadence.
- Industry Partners Program: Manage relationships with current outdoor brand partners while actively researching and recruiting new partners to grow the program. Coordinate the promotion of these partnerships by highlighting the exclusive discounts and special offers available to our customers and premium members across our website, email campaigns, and social media channels.
- Influencer & Creator Partnerships: Actively research and identify relevant content creators and influencers within the outdoor and hunting space who align with our target demographic. Reach out and manage relationships to partner with or hire these creators to produce compelling video ads, authentic organic content, and social media assets for our brands.
Bonus Experience (Not Required)
- Mailchimp (Email Marketing): Familiarity with email marketing platforms to build targeted campaigns, design newsletters, and configure automated customer journeys.
- WordPress (Website & Blog Platform): Experience navigating content management systems to format, draft, and publish articles, as well as execute general website updates.
- SEO (Yoast Plugin): Understanding of foundational Search Engine Optimization principles and experience utilizing plugins like Yoast to optimize metadata, titles, and keyword integration for improved search visibility.
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator): Proficiency in utilizing digital design software to edit photography, create custom visual assets, and produce video content for marketing channels.
- Canva (Graphic Design): Ability to utilize web-based design platforms to efficiently create professional graphics, templates, and social media collateral.
- Social Media Management Tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, etc.): Experience utilizing scheduling software to manage content calendars and coordinate cross-platform distribution.
What We Offer
- Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 based on experience
- Profit Sharing: Receive a profit-sharing bonus every quarter, 6 months after starting date
