Job Summary:
Barton & Gray Mariners Club is revolutionizing the yachting industry with best-in-class hospitality. As an exclusive yachting club, we provide private and memorable outings across 35 stunning harbors. The Marine Maintenance Support Driver will support the Service Technician team and primarily deliver parts and service consumables to our locations in CT, RI, and NYC. The ideal candidate is based in or near Greenwich, CT and has a reliable personal vehicle to use in the event that a company vehicle becomes unavailable.
Primary Responsibilities:
Execute the delivery of marine parts between local ports of operation and the North Stonington, CT service facility
- Hands on support of the service team during routine maintenance evolutions, and cleanup
- Organize and maintain parts inventory for ports of operation and compile stock reports
Assist local captains with the restocking of service consumables for vessels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and unencumbered Drivers License
- Reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of inventory policies and procedures
- Ability to remain organized while working independently
- Professional oral and written skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to navigate warehouse environment reaching items high and low
- Ability to stand or sit for periods of time up to four hours with minimal rest periods
- Basic working knowledge of Mac and Windows applications preferred
