Position Description: This position assists the staff athletic trainers in providing appropriate and timely medical referral. Responsibilities include providing transportation for student-athletes required medical referral, attending the referral appointment with the student-athlete, and reporting back to the staff athletic trainers regarding referral findings and instructions. Position Responsibilities: 45.00% - Drive injured student-athletes to medical referral sites. 30.00% - Sit in on medical referrals and take appropriate injury notes. 10.00% - Follow through on immediate physican orders. 10.00% - Communicate physician notes and orders with staff athletic trainers. 5.00% - Performs other duties as needed or assigned. Expectations: 1. Must be a student athletic trainer.

3. Must have an approved driving record.
4. Must demonstrate the maturity to drive safely.
5. Must be able to take appropriate notes and communicate them correctly. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience - Good driving record. Education - High School Diploma or equivilent. Other Skills - Good listening and recording skills. Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. Occasional exposure to objectionable conditions or variations such as those found in variable weather condtions or light industrial settings. Wages/Other: This position pays $9.00/hour.
