Pay Information:
Internal Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on applicable Rules or Union Contract Terms.
External Hires: This position starts at $30.63 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Technician independently performs a wide variety of technical activities in the areas of recruitment and selection, employment law compliance, training, and other related areas. Work involves completing, processing and auditing documents and providing technical information and assistance to managers, employees and applicants. The work performed is broad in scope but has standard methods, established rules, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year of technical level human resources experience; OR two years of administrative experience of which a substantial part of the duties involved human resources work.
License: None
Certification(s): None
Preferences: Preference may be given to any bilingual or multilingual candidate. Spanish and Tagolog highly preferred.
