Wound Care Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Mountainside Nursing Home in Mountainside, New Jersey. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality wound care services to our residents. Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized wound care plans for our residents
• Perform wound care treatments, including debridement, dressing changes, and other interventions
• Monitor and evaluate wound progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate residents and their families on wound care techniques and expectations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound care services
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve wound care outcomes
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of New Jersey
• 5 years of experience in wound care or a related field
• [Level of Education]: degree in nursing, Certification in wound care prefered
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
