What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Bartholomew Health Care Group Inc.?
The purpose of this position is to complete duties assigned to provide accurate, timely food service to meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. To work under the direct supervision of the Food Service Supervisor or Cook.

- Ability to work well in routine job
- Must be able to stand throughout shift on cement floors while performing job duties
- Must be able to lift and carrup racks of dishes, glasses, etc.
- Must be able to push/pull food cart
- Must be able to work at times in a noisy environment with machines running.
- Ability to move from one assignment to another and do all of the them quickly and well, accomplishing all tasks and assigned and utilizing initiative to do so
- Follow oral and written directions
- Set up trays and food services carts accurately and timely
- Serve and bus trays
- Pour and cover beverages
- Assist in preparing, covering and labeling food
- Clean work area
- Assist in the proper care, use and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Maintain steady work pace to produce and adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
- Scrape soiled dishes.
- Operate and automated dishwasher with solution-dispensing system
- Supervise flow of dishes through dish machine
- Sort clean dishes, transport to storage area and store according to dietary procedures
- Assess problems with dishwashing equipment and report promptly to Supervison
- Properly care for, clean and use kitchen equipment
- Attend in-service training programs for Food Service employees
- Observe infection control procedures related to the Dietary department
- Come to work as schedule and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality
- Perform other related duties as directed by his/her Supervisor
- Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner
- Follow Residents' Rights at all times
- Observe facility policies and procedures
- Accept assigned duties in cooperative manner
