What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overhead Door Technician and Installer position at Barron Equipment & Overhead Doors?
Barron is growing! We are looking for skilled service technicians to travel to job sites and repair, install, and service specifically overhead doors such as high speed doors, commercial sectional doors and residential garage doors. Experienced technicians who have worked with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment is not a requirement, but is preferred.
Here are some of the job duties:
- Manages service trucks
- Determines what materials or equipment needed to perform the install or service task
- Pulls necessary materials and equipment for install/service job; then loads in the company vehicle
- Contacts customers and provides excellent customer service
- Determines any safety rules at work site and ensures all PPE is available
- Installs or services equipment as indicated on the job sheet per manufacturer instructions
- Upon completion of job, communicates with customer services performed and ensures customer satisfaction

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- commercial/residential door installation: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
